Water Fight 2011!

Remember a couple of year ago when we had a big water gun fight in the park in Taiwan?

No? Read here to catch up.

So I decided that we could have an equally awesome time doing something similar here in Prague. And I was right.

Sight-seeing and Other Busy-ness

So about a million things have happened in the last week and I can't even begin to talk about them all so I'll go through the major highlights.

Thursday was Lunar New Year (and a Vietnamese girl that some of my friends know (who is now my friend, I love how that works) made us dinner. It was deeeelicious. I miss Asian food so much.

Today I was trying to explain to one of my students what the Chinese version of a dumpling is because here dumplings are basically bread or potato bread of some sort. It's totally different though also delicious and I love them as much as I love the Chinese dumplings.

I think I might be addicted to food. But I digress.

A Walk Through Letná Park

I am really enjoying this whole two-day weekend deal. I know some of you who aren't so familiar with my life are wondering what I'm talking about. "Haven't weekends always been two days?"

In Taiwan, I had Sundays off. Only Sundays. Saturday was actually my busiest day of the week. Sure, I only worked four hours a day during the week, but it sucked not having two full days off.

This is literally the first time since I started my first job when I was 15 (Sonic Drive-In carhop, what what!) that I have had weekends off. When you're in high school, you work weekends. In college, I worked weekends at the bar and weekdays at the newspaper (not to mention those pesky classes I was supposed to be going to).

The point: having two days off is akin to being in heaven.
